McDave, I hate to say this but I will. You cannot lead the horse to drink or advertise on this board without breaking the rules if an item is for sale. It is a grey area. I have seen =sellers= post a: "what do you think about this item I found on ebay" to draw attention to it for more viewers. This is not allowed.
For the very cheap (pennys a day) the units could be placed in the classifyed section here. This gives some honor.
IS it fair for Rod to have this board for others to gain the advantavge of more customer views for no charge?
Look, a disclaimer of not being an affiliate of the seller is justifyed but still, folks see through that. I am not the boss around here by any means but their comes a time where enough is enough....even if you have nothing to do with the seller.Since the seller is your friend, AND you posted it here to draw attention to it AND you wrote a disclamer.....when are the boundarys being breeched?
I love it. I could post, look how great I enjoy a certain product, hyper the crap out of it, get everyone excited, and go proudly to market. Used or new, same thing.
I could be totally off base here, and not trying to flame you here. Actually, I have second thoughts of writing this as it will draw more attention to this post....and result in either one or two things. The speakers will be noticed by more people...or no one will touch them no matter what, due to the tactics of the sale.
Do Rod a favor. Place a damn ad. It is cheap...then you can direct people to it...well many readers check all the ads daily. So fair enough?
If I am wrong about this, kindly delete my post. I feel their are issues with such posts.
Perhaps I am wrong...so be it. I will be wrong in the future as well....just life...but it crys out for attention withouit compensation...don't you think?Would it be so much nicer to buy an ad here and in the ad post the link and then say, Check out this AA advertisement...And then the link to epay?
Well? Your thoughts please. You may just be enthusiastic about them...forgive me IF I am wrong...but I smell shit when I smell it.
So, based on that, I hope he gets what he wants for them.Truely, an advertisement or even leading a horse, is against the rules.
This is not menat to insult you....but think about it, how does AA as a whole gain from this without some ad space involved??? True??
