A dealer near me has a few interesting used speakers:
Acoustat Spectra 22 $900
Acoustat 1 $600
Alon One $650Comments on these? I can only afford one, maybe two upgrades this year and I think speakers are first on the list, then my preamp.
I've owned planars in the past and enjoyed them (Maggies). I've heard Acoustats and was impressed, the trade off being no kick factor.. other suggestions in the $1000 < price range are welcome.
