...I saw Van Morrison live for the first time. He started many of his songs - and then another singer (Georgie Fame and others) would finish it. It was a terrible concert. I came to see and hear Van, not them.I saw Carlos Santana live about 10 years ago for the third or fourth time. He did the same thing - let other guitarists have the spotlight while he sat back. Not a very good concert either.
That sounds like what Clapton is doing.
It's unfortunate that when these top performers reach a certain age they seem to forget what their fans came for and paid money to see.
