You're right, that really isn't open to interpretation! I didn't pay much attention to that one line... In that case she probably should have expanded on her thoughts and just have said "I came to hate life!"As you said in your original post there IS plenty of good, nee, great music being made if one just puts a little effort into seeking it out.
Certainly life can't be as bad as that one statement by her would indicate!She does seem prone to more than a bit of the exaggeration, though.
