Several of NY's his remastered releases are encoded with HDCD and sound very good to me. On the other hand, my digital player decodes HDCD information so I'm realizing some additional potential in the recording. I sure wish that "After the Gold Rush" would get remastered, because both my LP and CD sound like total shit.
