more so than Fogarty does (at least in that Fillmore video/CD from a few years back), which is ironic and troubling, but not that surprising.Those guys are still at it for the love of the music AND to make a living. All they are really missing is Fogerty, sans his ego, though I feel HE (and the songs) are missing them more than vice versa. That rythm section captures those grooves and plays those licks with more soul, verve and feeling than ALL the L.A. professional hired hands that Fogarty can afford to buy, and remain true to the songs. They have every right to be playing those songs and keeping the spirit alive from one of the greatest bands ever. They were an integral part of the BAND that was CCR. They are neither a joke or a scam.
