67 was ok...68 and the meth had everyone going weird....except those of us who knew poison when we saw it...the 60's ended about 72....the spirit though left after 67. It was a time, they all called it the summer of love...I call it the Golden Age of Fucking.
I did not live in HA, I was in La Honda with Kesey and the Dead for neighborhood antics, fun and mental stretch exercises.
Still, I went to the Haight all the time because....that is where the music was....that was where the chix were and there were compelling reasons to go....
Very hard to explain it all......
