Oh sheesh............

C'mon dude.

I'm a pretty big Genesis fan, - but talk like this just gets you into silliness. There is certainly no good and bad in art. Please, - why don't you start by saying why YOU think those two records are great, and ask if folks agree???

IMO, - Lamb had the most potential, - was marred by an almost pitiful lack of editing. Of course, - it's understandable as Gabriel already was on his way out, and others in the band were either extremely frustrated, or lost interest as well; and it shows in the poor mix, lack of dynamics and focus, and general clutter.
- just my opinion....

But it doesn't mean that Lamb isn't good, or better or worse, than others...Even though I'm a huge, "Gabriel as solo artist" fan, - I would say that "trick of the tail" is as good as those two: IMO of course....


In arenas he kills for a prize, Wins a minute to add to his life. But the sickness is drowned by cries for more, Pray to God, make it quick, watch him fall
