or for unrequited or lost love, Richard and Linda Thompson's "Dimming of the Day," though Dolly's "I Will Always Love You" always pulls on the heart strings too, before Whitney murdered it.And hey, call me a sap, but I grew up with Annie's Song and still love it. This song just sounds true, unlike so much of Denver's cheesier numbers.
