how to make a cover for CDs (not that I do this of course)

If you have a combined printer/scanner, then this is what you do.
Take the CD cover (original) and lie it opened out along the long side of the A4 paper arrangement. Scan and print.
Take the A4 sheet and fold along the bottom of the cover image. Trim down the back edge and fold that to the front edge of the cover. Fold the front edge over and slip it into the the rear (careful here!). Press flat and trim along the top.
Voila... A copy of the front and back covers of the original cover, and it neatly looks like a CD cover because you have scanned the actual cover and you can see the plastic casing on the printed version.
Not that I do this myself. Not that I ever burn CDs.
But if I did (and I don't) then this how I would copy the covers (and I don't).
It looks very good, takes but a moment (or so I am told) and impresses people when you give them the copy.
Pretty neat. But, of course, I don't do it.
No sir, never have.
Of course.
