I remember through the chemical haze of freshman college days how blown away I was by 'All Things Must Pass' and I still consider it second to none other than the John Lennon post Beatles efforts. I especially enjoy the best of this material that is recorded live on the 'Concert for Bangladesh' album. I also cannot help but recognize the parallelisms with the Chiffons song. But a half a million dollars? What would James Joyce or Freud for that matter have to say about subconcious stream of consciouness and how much of what is in the public domain constitutes outright plagiarism?
