if he put more effort into it. Sometimes great music "Mister Soul" but lyrics he wrote in five minutes on a napkin, probably.
I am A Child, great tune, good thoughts, but better lyrics could have been had if he had spent more time wordsmithing.
That's what I like about Gilbert O', although if I were given concert tickets I would for sure go see Neil Y instead of Gilbert O. But Gilbert must sit for hours massaging the phrasing, looking for new words to use, and innovative ideas.
