Fairport were one of the very best back when you could catch them playing in pubs around London.
The combination of Sandy's voice and Richard's guitar is hard to beat and I mean no disrespect to the others at all, but to have 2 such genuinely brilliant people in one band is extraordinary. To have that band so touched by tragedy is damn I'm trying for a word other than tragic...
