Overall I think Van's probably more middle of the road than not. Though his most famous song Brown Eyed Girl, I think, wouldn't appeal to most women - except those with brown eyes.Artists that appeal mainly to women - I wouldn't know maybe something like Janet Jackson or Destiny's Child. I couldn't imagine a guy liking much later day Liz Phair. On the other hand I'm pretty sure most women don't like Dianna Krall or Lucinda Williams or some bitch beating rapper.
But WTF do I know? People get off on different things.
