Oh, man, was this a disappointment. If you're like me, the Easy Star All Stars' reggae version of PF's DSotM is a classic cover CD, recreating the entire DSotM disc lovingly, without resorting to extraneous BS.
But on the live DVD, tempos are too fast, cameras are shaky (including novice-like shots from the front row of the audience), the stage is dark, sound is so-so and the musicianship is iffy. Two thumbs down.
I bought it for $15, and that was wayyy too much. If you've seen it in stores and wondered about it, skip it. But if you haven't heard the CD version, buy it now.
