Of course, many would take issue with the original poster's characterization of MMT through Abbey Road as the Beatles' peak, as most would say that was Rubber Soul through Sgt. Peppers.Of course, peak of self indulgence is another matter, so the years before the breakup would certainly be the most likely to produce released tracks that should have been left on the cutting room floor.
