Been awhile since I dug into this album. Got the newer remixed version with the 9 extra tracks and much clearer and more coherent sound....from Yourmusic.com for $6.48!! It may be the new sub woof I have but this mix has really good bottom end sound.....Drum sound just snaps
An amazing array of singers and players and the songs are so timeless. Danko 's vocals on Long Black Veil are stunning....Levon singing...Pulled into Nazareth about half past dead....timeless, just suspended in the air and waiting for Americana music to catch up 40 years down the pike.
Got The Band coming next month.....
