i saw the Who just recently in Vancouver. i bought the cheaper nosebleed tickets but still had a real good view of them. i had no expectations of them and i'll admit i had my doubts that it would be as good of a show when i saw them nearly front row back in 1989. well much to my surprise, this recent show was even better than the '89 show! i liked how the band was stripped down to just 6 musicians making it a bit rawer and less over-produced (they had at least double that number of musicians on stage in '89). Daltry's voice was in fine form and Pete was actually playing electic guitar with some fierce! not like in '89 when he stuck with an acoustic due to his hearing problem. excellent visuals and song selections made this concert a highlight of the year for me so far.and the new album is pretty good too!
