I supposed some who listened to this cd is Shocked at the directness and the brutality of his political message about the war in the middle east. Neil has done a protest song before when he was with CSN & Y in "Ohio" a song protesting about the war in Vietnam. And at the same token some weren't Awed with the overall sonic quality of the recording resulting from the hastily released.I would view this cd as Rockin in the Free World on steroids. Definitely it is a keeper and would be use as a barometer to his other recordings which were more polished lovingly taking care of before he released them IMHO.
