Apparently Walsh and his Posse (hee, hee) have an interest in recording a concert after they've gotten enough performances under their belt and as long as the don't look like a bunch of old codgers just going through the motions. They needn't worry on that count.Having witnessed how together and "on" the Gang were last night, I'd say that a concert DVD is almost inevitable. BTW, Dallas apparently LOVES the James Gang, because after researching their tour schedule I learned that last night's gig was just the first night of a 3 night engagement at the Nokia; they must've sold out the first two nights. Wow!
One more thing: The James Gang Rides Again tour is scheduled while the Eagles are on haitis; later in the year the Eagles may be recording a new album. But what is even more tantalizing for James Gang fans is that there MAY even eventually be new music from the James Gang. Check out the interview below. It would seem that all three of them have been mulling over ideas for new James Gang music. If this were to come about it would be great news!
