I undertook a search for a source for the Ebbetts CD's a year or so ago. I ended up on some message board (forgot which one) in which all of the participants sung the praises of the discs and traded them, etc. However, it was a VERY closed community. Almost cloak and dagger shit. The farthest I got was one gentleman volunteering to send me a free "burned copy" of an Ebbetts Beatles Oldies but Goodies.It arrived and I was very impressed with the sound and quality of the labeling; a real professional job. I still wonder to this day if I wasn’t dealing with Ebbetts himself, or maybe one of his trusted “distributors.â€
No email response from the guy after that though and I was ready to purchase.
