If you think a good portion of musicians that you admire aren't doing the same thing, you're crazy. I'm in a band that plays locally, and I have seen no-name bands that we've played with get into some crazy situations. These are people who are NOT STARS in any sense and still have ladies throwing themselves at them. Yeah, Paris taped it, but she's far from the only one, I assure you.
Understand of course that I have zero respect for her, but she's only in the position that she's in because people lap it up. They wouldn't put her on the covers of magazines if the public at large quit buying 'em. Stop paying attention and she'll quickly disappear.
