As a lot of you know, I'm a huge fan of Aleks Syntek.... And because Syntek is a Latin artist, people tend to give me a lot of recommendations for "Latin" artists. One of those recs is a new band from Spain called "Reik", which has gotten my attention.... Maybe not as eclectic as Syntek, but this is one of few recent bands, Latin or mainstream, that to me shows some real promise. A "soft rock" style, very musical, and more of a "mainstream" than "Latin" flavor. I will check out the band's two CDs.
