I first heard Alexi in a live session on KCRW's Sounds Eclectic and bought his new CD as soon as it came out. Once you get past the obvious Nick Drake comparison he reveals himself as a very talented songwriter and musician with his own voice and vision. I've been playing him regularly for the past couple of months. One of the best of my few music purchases of 2006. Recommended.
