He's played here in Houston a couple of times lately.Friends, who kind of knew who he was, saw him as the opening act for someone (not sure who) they wanted to see. They were blown away by his energy. They were also surprised at "how many hits" he wrote. They said he kind of overshadowed the headliner.
When he played the Houston Rodeo, the reviews stated that he was the best act in rememberence.
