"Love Me Do" was released in October, 1962 (UK); the Treaty of Versailles (officially ending the Great War) was finally signed, by all parties, in November 1919. 43 years, give or take a few days. It must be pointed out that "Love Me Do" is a lot more fun than WWI was...Let's hope the Beatles' catalogue takes less time for decent remastering on CD...
