IMHO, the finest album of the Peter Green era; some great bluesy stuff, fierce jams ("Madge"), and some stuff that's just pure delight (e.g. the Shadows-esque instrumental "My Dream"). The Mac of that time usually played live in the studio, with a minimum of overdubs; audio processing nil (aside from some lovely reverb). This album pointed the band towards the sound they'd achieve on albums like Future Games; Danny Kirwans' folky writing and playing coming to the fore. This was Peters' last album with the band.
