Exotic Birds and Fruit is the same band as Grand Hotel, and a great sequel to that classic album. A Salty Dog, although uneven IMHO, is considered by many PH devotees as the bands' apogee; I wouldn't argue the point myself. I'd recommend seeking out the 30th Anniversary Anthology (Westside), which includes the first four albums and a disc of b-sides and alternate versions, like the stereo "A Whiter Shade of Pale".
