Maui, outside of that genre you detest so...I always figured a Brian Wilson guy (did you hear Landy died, BTW?) had a good chance of being fairly rational. This is a thread for the Outside, but I'll just say that...I like a good conspiracy theory as much as the next guy. It doesn't fly here, for a lot of reasons, in spite of legitimate questions that might make certain things look a little fishy...the most important factor here is the number of people required to pull this off, and human nature. If there was a coverup it would've leaked by now. That's just common sense.

Popular Mechanics debunked all this stuff awhile back. I can tell you that the underground concourse that connected 7 WTC to the rest of the complex passed those fires along pretty darned good. That building burned all day. The 'pulled' remark is a red herring for the conspiracy theorists. This stuff is interesting to look at, perhaps, but it's beyond nutty. Related to the primary issue of people being people & not being able to keep secrets, is the fact that no investigative reporters considered remotely credible have found a reason to go after any of this stuff. There's a reason for that.
