The Palladium (former Academy of Music) does not exist anymore. It was torn down and replaced with dormitories for New York University and yes it was a great place for a concert. I saw some great shows there: Frank Zappa, The Band, Alice Cooper, Chic, Frankie Beverly and Maze. I even saw Yes as an opening act. They don't make places like that anymore.
