Wow... excellent news indeed! Thanks for the heads-up on this, I'm going to get my hands on it asap too. I just researched it on allmusic.com though, and I see it features some flute, which gives me a little trepidation. I'm something like Branford Marsalis, who in this month's JazzTimes gives such a harsh reaction to the guitar playing on James Carter's Chasin the Gypsy CD (Lubambo, no less!!!), and voices his general distaste for guitars in jazz. Unlike Marsalis however, I enjoy jazz guitar in general and Lubambo in particular! It's jazz flute that I have a problem with. It must go back to some heavy exposure to Herbie Mann back in the 60's! Trio da Paz and Kenny Barron have always demonstrated exceedingly good taste, so I'll have faith and look forward to hearing it. Exciting news, thanks again.Mike
