As a moron who use to own VERY serious HT installation in past I would encourage you to arrest the quality of your 5.1 sound system to $2000 including the amplification, speakers, cables, LF modul and processors. Do not get any “better†quietly, do not spend more money or more time on the sound part of you HT.There are very few deserving attention musical material available on DVD. Most of the B/W anyway or very bad sonicly and therefore you will not be able to take advantage of 5.1 (whatever advantage it offers). Many of the contemporary super-duper, so called classical, DVDs are very pure context-wise.
