It's all about the music, dude! Sit down, relax and listen to some tunes.

Country Music Has Partially-Filled a Void...

... abandoned by popular music. I see Shania ripped to shreds by country music purists for sounding "too commercial," but then again, what about those like myself who've been yearning for good *popular* music over this past decade??

I admit wrestling with myself between "country purist" and "pop starved," and nobody will be satisfied all the time, but I personally have to commend the country music industry for enlarging its tent to take in the audience who have enjoyed popular music of the past for its musical merits. The audience so rudely abandoned by today's popular music industry. (And not all country artists are going for the "commercialized" form of the genre.)

With the likes of Brittany and N'Sync dominating the pop charts, all I have to say is thank God for Shania!!!
