Alison Kraus is definitely in another league as far as the music goes. First song I ever heard (besides the "O Brother Where Art Thou" tunes) was "The Lucky One" on the Tonight Show. Blew me away, on the TV speakers, no less.I'm thinking it's impossible for someone with 'well-turned ankles' like Shania or Faith Hill to convey the important tragic element to music as well as Alison Kraus. Not that Alison isn't beatiful. She's very easy on the eyes. She's just not as 'commercialized'...
