Around 5-6 years ago, I saw her do a Saturday night gig at the Concord Resort Hotel in the Catskills. Yes, the Catskills. Think white-haired audience, with a smattering of teenagers visiting their grandparents. Think of extremely loud, punishing bass that actually hurt my chest cavity (& I was midway back in the VERY large main ballroom). Think of Shania literally screaming (singing?) over the din. Think of absolutely no vocal talent in evidence. Think of the entire audience walking out on her in droves. Think of Shania yelling to our backs, "What's wrong with you people?". It was pitiful.{B^}
