It's always had a ton of hiss if that's what you mean, and it was pieced together so you do hear some artifacts of the splices. The guitar and keyboards do sound a little overdriven at times, but I think that was intentional. It remains one of my favorite recordings. I think I do enjoy it at lower volume than most recordings, you might try turning it down a bit.
