Just,
Go out and buy a copy of the Auvidis Astree Cd of this in the original orchestral version. 1991.
Jordi Savaal's little Spanish Orchestra on original instruments shhh. With just a narrator. no singers.
It kills the choral version and the Quartet versions I have, both of which I thought were wonderful.
I don't think being of a religious bent, or upbringing (me) is vital, but this is great music and great music making.
