By chance, last night I listened to "Oscar Peterson Trio + One: Clark Terry" on Mercury SR-60975 LP (1964). What a joy! Terry played both trumpet and flugelhorn, and performed his original "Mumbles" and "Incoherent Blues" vocals. I'm sure the masterful trio of Oscar, Ray Brown, and Ed Thigpen would agree - Clark Terry stole the show.Highly recommended to anyone who owns a turntable. One of the best sounding jazz LPs ever recorded in stereo, period.
