I think it was December 1992, when my friends and I saw Ministry headline the Bill Graham Civic, here in San Francisco. The opening act was Sepultura. Lead singer Max Cavalera pronounced it "San Fran-seese-koh." They played for about 45 mintues, which we all felt was too short.
Kirk Hammett (Metallica) joined Ministry. In fact, he played the whole set. They were very good, keeping the grind going the entire time.
Because of the size of the venue, there was space for multiple mosh pits. Yet, there weren't any fights, so a good (and safe!) time was had by all.
