Love Lacy's sound and Hermeto is a special case(!).
Heard Jane Ira Bloom 'live' once (Fred Hersch on piano) and dug what she was doing a lot.
I love a beautiful 'sound' on soprano and the best ones, I think, are the folks who concentrate almost exclusively on that instrument, IMHO.
