No one, including this writer, has mentioned the Dexter Gordon-led "Our Man In Paris," a 1963 Blue Note release. There's a certain poignancy to this recording, since Gordon later starred in "Round Midnight", Bernard Tavernier's film about a jazz musician generally thought to be a composite of Lester Young and Powell.
