Who do you think is the best person to ask at Elusive Disc? I sent an email to Fremer. I would suspect that given the limited edition and the price the folks at Elusive Disc may not have ever popped one open to give them a listen. And yes the assessment of the performances are subjective but I would be interested to hear any such opinions from any mebers here who have heard any of the recordings. Of course such opinions are just that, opinions.
My experience with Japanese pressed LPs of western music is that there is no reasonable rule of thumb. IME they range from state of the art to dismal. I can't make any assumptions one way or the other based on country of origin here.
