Always leaves me a bit cold. Between Bach and poor old Szeryng on mono, (the two sets with which I'm most familiar at the moment) I prefer Szeryng because he seems to paint the individual polyphonic lines with a bit more color.
I've also been eying the Martzy Box set lately. I know the violinist is collectable, but is she good?
