First, I file my classical collection according to nationality of the composer, in alpabetical order. (Now do I file Murry Ravel under French or British?). For those countries with multiple composers, they are subdivided into chronological order by date of the death of the composer. For multiple recordings by different conductors, I first subdivide the living from the dead conductors. With the dead group, I file them according to the height of the conductor, tallest to shortest. The few living conductors are just placed near the CDP. Compilations are simply divided into "Marching" or "Dancing" categories.Neil (Am I a newbie or what?)
