Just got some records today.

About 2 weeks ago, I bid on some Sesame Street records on E-bay and won. they are a box set of 45's that originaly contained 6 records and books in all. They are based on the Sesame Street Original Cast album that was released in 1970 by Columbia Records. These were released at that same time also. The seller had indicated that one record and book were missing on E-bay. Record #6 to be exact. and the box was a bit worn w/ tape on the corners. The records themselves were in fairly good shape.
Well, they arrived today and in the box along w/ the records was a note and 2 one dollar bills. Apparently the seller didn't know that one of the books was missing a record-making it 4 records and 5 books. he had refunded me 2 bucks for the inconvenience. Mighty honest of him I think.
Anyway, the records were pretty much in the condition that he said they were in. In fact, I thought they'd be a bit noisier and scratched but no, they were actualy quite clean w/ an occassional scratch. Cool set non the less.
I got them in a reasonable amount of time and they were what I thought they'd be. Fun having them.
this was my first auction on Ebay.
This has been a good week for music purchasing as I bought 5 albums and one 45 on Thursday and another album last Saturday. All in excellent condition too.

and Petula Clark's single, Sign of the Times.
this has sertainly been a good week for me.
