It was done for Alan Douglas' independent label in '67. Then, a few years later it was sold to Muse, which released in in the seventies as a Chick Corea date(obviously). LaRoca sued, won, and... the record never reappeared till 32Jazz bought up the Muse catalog.
It's a budget release from 1997-30 years later, around $8 or $10. 32Jazz is another label(more like a reissue house) worth discussing. They released quite a lot of oop Muse,Ode,Atlantic dates. All cheap. The only grudge I have with them is that they don't keep original artwork on the cover, but instead have a tiny picture on the inside of the box and sometimes the remastering job isn't the best. My fovorites from 32 are Newborn's Solo and the Woody Shaw twofer.
