I manage a 90 seat modern jazz club in New Orleans. Twice a year Steve Lacy's Trio performs with us. Some of his gigs have been the best I've ever seen. An important plus for someone in my position is that these guys are real gentlemen. They are easy to get along with, they enjoy their work, and they like being in New Orleans.
This Saturday & Sunday will be JoAnne Brackeen's trio. She's another great player.
