Joe,I've been interested in the same for some time now. If you want straight
didgeridoo music, like field recordings of Aboriginal ceremonies, there
are a few out there but the sound is usually far less than sterling; it's
the old anthropologist recording everything he hears syndrome in terms of
musical quality too. You might check the Smithsonian Folkways, "Bunggridj-
bunggridj: Wangga Songs by Alan Maralung" for decent sound anyway. Now, Outback has two quite good didgeridoo/guitar albums out, "Dance the
Devil Away" and "Baka"; these should be available from Rykodisc. And I
highly recommend Dr. Didg, "Serotonality", also available from Rykodisc.
Graham Wiggins is the didgeridoo player on all of these.I don't know if there is a soundtrack of the motion picture, "The Last
Wave" or not but I recall a chilling didgeridoo tune in it.Regards,
J.R.
