Hi Rob. I know. My Dad was a barbershopper - imagine being a teenager and HAVING to go to barbershopper concerts - best part was that they were/are booze hounds and therefore I was able to at least have booze...But I joined here to talk with ya'll about all types of tunes, and like I said a while ago, I don't know hardly anything about the Classics but appreciate that style and fully support everyones musical tastes.
I have posted here music that has classical content on several occasions. I was trying to show my broad scope in music appreciation and passion, regardless of genre.
I can understand your fill of r&r. I have the same feelings about Jazz and Barbershopper music. Too much too soon.
