By Coltrane, with McCoy Tyner on piano, Elvin Jones on drums.
I was playing this 10-minute (or more) piece in the car the other day while driving across Utah in a blizzard.
This is driving music -- and driven! This sucker gets down in the bones and rattles around in there. Tyner's piano solo is haunting. Recommended for cross country road tripping. If you haven't played this in awhile, call it seasonal music, but skip the blizzard if you can help it.
